Annual WPIA Yard Sale / PTSA Crafts Fair

Yard Sale: May 8-9

As they say, someone’s junk is anotherʼs treasure! OnMay8&9,theWPIA (Woodland Park Improvement Association) will be holding it’s annual yard sale!

Ferndale’s WPIA is one of the oldest neighborhood block associations in the state, incorporated in 1946. The streets in the Association are W. Oakridge to W. Maplehurst between Woodward and Pinecrest, and also includes the north side of W. Lewiston between Woodward and Livernois. Current services provided to the residents in

this area include legal representation should we need to challenge local business or municipal actions, snow removal, an annual beautification award, annual summer block party, Christmas Eve luminaries, newsletters and yearly website costs. All of this for an annual voluntary membership fee of $15!

Crafts Fair: Saturday, May 16

The Ferndale Schools High School and Middle School Parent, Teacher, Student Association will be holding their annual Arts and Crafts Fair fundraiser on Saturday, May 16 in the Ferndale Middle School gym (back by the high school football field) from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. This is an art fair with approximately 30 vendors (sometimes more) featuring hand-crafted items. All proceeds go to support scholarships, teacher grants and school activities that are supported by the PTSA.
